New Sit-Com Working Class

I got a chance to see clips of a new sit-com series and I was sold. This new series is the first scripted sitcom of CMT, named Working Class. The story is about a single mom, Carli Mitchell (played by Melissa Peterman), from a rough and tumble background, trying to give her 3 kids a better life by moving them to an upscale suburb. Her transition to "the good life" is much harder than she thought. There are so many going around her: her cranky neighor, Hank (played by Ed Asner), who is also his coworker; her boss Rob (played by Patrick Fabian) who she falls for has a girlfried; her little brother Nick (played by Steve Kazee) help her out to raise the kids. Carli faces the challenges of parenting, dating and making friends in the new community.

Carli is a sweet woman who works hard and stay true to herself. People around her like her and she is a wonderful mom who does all for her kids. I feel some kind of connected to this character although she is 10 times more beautiful than me, our will to fight for the best for children is the same. Also, both Carli and I are working mom, we are both "working class".

The first episode of Working Class will be screened on January 28 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Then the all new 12 episode series will be followed at 8:30pm ET/PT. I know that I'm not going to miss it and I hope that more people would love Working Class like me. I want to see how Carli's family doing and see the kids growing up.

Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel Soundtrack - Part 2

Talk more about Alvin and The Chipmunks : The Squeakquel soundtrack. The reason why I want to share some more is that my children ask for listening to it all the times. The Squeakquel Movie Soundtrack is great entertainment for both kids and parents.  Featuring chipmunk'd renditions of classics from Beyonce, Katy Perry, the Bee Gees and many more, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and their girlfriends, The Chipettes, provide hours of fun for everyone. My children are pretty young, 4 and 2-1/2, but they know what they want and what they like. Believe me, they sure do know. They choose their own movies to watch, clothes and shoes to wear, toys and bags to bring out of home, food to eat and which stuffed animals to sleep with at night.

They will wave their arms, move their bodies and dance when they listen to the songs. Especially the song "You Spin Me Around (Like a Record)", my son taught his sister how to spin around and they spin together. It is so funny when they do that. They giggle and tap their feet. It is one of the best moments in a day when they do not fight and play together. Ooohs, nooooo, they actually fight, they fight for holding the CD jack and they request to help me to put the CD into the player. Both of them want to be a great helper to mommy. To me, I can steal sometimes to do chores in the house when they are listening to the soundtracks and keeping me out of their minds.

This soundtrack appeals to the whole family but if you have children like mine. I would suggest you to take a look and consider buying a copy. You can order it online through Amazon.com or iTunes Previews It is a good experience to see how the children learn. Most of the time, they would find out something different and creative.

Now, you have a chance to win a gift pack if you purchase a copy. You can click on the tag "Enter to Win a Gift Pack" to learn more. Enjoy and Good Luck!

Disclosure: I am a Warner Bros WOM team member and I have received a free promotional copy of the CD.

Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel soundtrack

My children are (were) on Ice Age 3 and they can ask for watching it again, again and again in a day everyday. There is a movie trailer advertisement of Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel in the DVD. Every time my children watch it, they get excited and they know it "The Chipmunks".

I let them listen the original movie soundtrack, they were so excited. My son asked for holding the CD cover and they moved their bodies, waved arms and tapped their feet when they listened to the soundtracks. There are total 15 songs in this CD. So far, they like "You Really Got Me", "Not N Cold", "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)", "It's OK" and "We Are Family" better although the others are also nice.

I'm lucky that I got a free promotion copy as a member of Warner Bros WOM team. When I know that there's a project to receive a soundtrack to listen with my kids, I was so excited to apply and hoped that I would be picked so that I would be given a free copy of the CD to listen with my kids.

You can listen to the soundtracks and purchase a copy of the songs in the soundtrack from the webs Amazon.com and iTune Preview
